To bid in person at the auction
To be able to bid at a Chorley’s auction, you must register and obtain a paddle number from our saleroom office. If you have not bid with us before, you will be asked to provide proof of identity and residence, such as driving licence photocard, passport, current utility bill. New bidders and absentee bidders will be also asked to supply valid credit or debit card details.
To register for absentee bids
If you are unable to attend the auction to bid in person, you can leave commission bids or register for telephone bidding or online bidding. New clients, or those who have not made a purchase at our saleroom within the last two years, will be asked to supply proof of identity and residence, such as driving licence photocard, passport, current utility bill and submit their credit or debit card details through a secure page on this website, by filling in the form below. We would ask you to make a payment of GBP1.00 in order to have your card details verified and we will refund this payment to you as soon as it has come through. You will receive an automatic authorisation reply/receipt from SAGE PAY upon completion of the payment and will then be authorised to bid with us by any means for all future auctions.

The following secure link can be used either to register to bid or to pay for Lots purchased at auction. If paying for Lots, please ensure you know the full amount due, including buyer's premium and VAT. Please note, if paying by Credit Card, there will be a 3% surcharge so ensure you have verified the correct total with the bids office.
REGISTRATION FORM AND PAYMENT FORM
If you are registering to bid in a forthcoming sale, please enter 1.00 in the 'Amount' box. This will be refunded once the card details have been verified.
If you are paying for a Lot purchased in a recent sale, please enter the full amount due (ask the office if you have not received your invoice), in numbers only form, for example 150.24
When you press Proceed, you will be asked to press another button to Confirm you wish to make a payment, then you will be redirected to the secure page where you can input your card details.
