Joined H.W.Keil Ltd. Broadway, learned a great deal about the business from the legendary Bill Keil.
Joined Kit and Mark Alderson as a partner to deal in antique furniture, with shops in Amsterdam and Bath
Was approached by and joined Sothebys in 1979. Worked at their Torquay, Billingshurst and Bond Street Rooms before opening and office in Imperial Square, Cheltenham for them.
I was involved with many great Sales including Easton Neston, Stokesay, Penpont and Derwydd Mansion, and wonderful single owner sales such a the collections of Sir Leslie Joseph and Bobby Wills. I helped produce valuations for many of the great collections in the West of England and Wales.
I left Sotheby's in May 2009 and was very pleased to join Simon and his team at Chorley's in July as a Director, undertaking the role of Auctioneer and Valuer.
