TO MAKE PAYMENT AFTER SUCCESSFUL BIDDING :

Payments via our PROTX secure server must only be made in accordance with a Chorley's invoice total.  Please telephone the office on 01452 344499 or email us at enquiries@simonchorley.com if you have not received an invoice.  Once you know the complete invoice value, please fill in the form below accordingly and with that full amount. ONE OFF REGISTRATION PROCESS (IN ORDER TO BE AUTHORISED TO BID AT SALE):

New clients, or those who have not made a purchase at our saleroom within the last two years, are asked to fill in the form below, which will take you to a secure PROTX/CARDNET server page. 

We would ask you to make a payment, as part of your registration below, of 1GBP in order to have your card details verified and we will refund this payment to you as soon as it has come through. You will receive an automatic authorisation reply/receipt from PROTX upon completion of the payment and will therefore be authorised to bid with us by any means for all future auctions. You can do so in person, by e-mail, through the commission bid system on our website or through www.the-saleroom.com

As is the case with bidders present in the saleroom, we will expect you to contact this office immediately upon conclusion of the sale to indicate your time of collection as well as preferred form of payment.  If we do not hear from you after the sale, we will pursue all funds relating to your bid/bids and subsequently any storage or additional charges which would be incurred.

We would remind prospective bidders that the firm strongly advises viewing on site in person or by a designated agent, and that any descriptions, condition reports and images supplied to the absentee bidder are an opinion provided by this firm and do not guarantee the condition, age or any other characteristic of the lot in question. Absence of a condition report on our online catalogue does not guarantee that the lot is without faults or damage, only that a condition report has not been undertaken.

Execution of commission bids is a free service provided by the firm and undertaken subject to other commitments at the time of the sale; the firm cannot accept liability in an individual instance for failing to execute a written bid or for errors and omissions in connection with it, arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We reserve the right to charge for the storage of any lots not collected directly after the sale. We recommend you read our Terms & Conditions before bidding.
