AFTER SUCCESSFUL BIDDING:
Payments via our PROTX secure server must only be made in accordance with a Simon Chorley Art & Antiques invoice total. Please contact this office on 01452 344499 / enquiries@simonchorley.com if you have not received an invoice.
TO BE AUTHORISED TO BID AT SALE:
New clients, or those who have not made a purchase at our saleroom within the last two years, are asked to fill in the form below, which will take you to a secure PROTX/CARDNET server page. This process must be completed at least 24 hours before the sale in question and you will receive an automatic authorisation reply / reciept from PROTX upon completion of the payment.
We require you to make a payment of 1GBP before you bid live through SALEROOM.COM or if you wish to leave a commission bid by telephone or email; this transaction will authorise your identity by PROTX through the ownership of the card. If you are successful in your bid, the 1GBP will be refunded in conjunction with your payment.
As is the case with bidders present in the room, we will expect you to contact this office immediately upon conclusion of the sale to indicate your time of collection as well as prefered form of payment. If we do not hear from you after the sale, we reserve the right to pursue the funds relating to your bid/bids and subsequently any storage or additional charges which would be incurred.
We would remind prospective bidders that the firm strongly advises viewing on site in person or by a designated agent, and that any descriptions, condition reports and images supplied to the absentee bidder are an opinion provided by this firm and do not guarantee the condition, age or any other characteristic of the lot in question.
Execution of commission bids is a free service provided by the firm and undertaken subject to other commitments at the time of the sale; the firm cannot accept liability in an individual instance for failing to execute a written bid or for errors and omissions in connection with it, arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We reserve the right to charge for the storage of any lots not collected directly after the sale. We recommend you read our Terms & Conditions before bidding.
